We’re excited to share a major update to Lyena (Model SNT-02H) - one that brings her even closer to a truly natural, embodied presence.
A Stand That Lets Lyena Look Around
Lyena now has a brand-new animated head stand that allows her to physically look around her environment using smooth yaw and pitch motion. This seemingly small change makes a huge difference in how alive she feels.
Instead of being fixed in one direction, Lyena can now:
- Turn her head naturally toward the person speaking
- Look up or down in response to gestures or visual cues
- Maintain eye contact more convincingly during conversation
The result is a far more expressive and engaging interaction. Lyena doesn’t just respond anymore - she reacts, with motion that feels intuitive and human-like. Whether she’s greeting you, following movement in the room, or simply idly scanning her surroundings, the new stand adds subtle personality and presence that photos and specs alone can’t fully capture.
A Smarter, Faster, More Flexible Brain
Alongside her new physical capabilities, Lyena is also receiving a significant internal upgrade.
Her AI system has been redesigned to be modular and highly configurable, allowing users to choose the right balance of performance, responsiveness, and cost - without ever compromising on privacy.
Lyena’s brain can be configured with:
- Single or dual CPU setups, enabling anything from efficient everyday interaction to faster, more reactive dialogue
- A choice between:
- BCM2712 - a cost-effective option for lightweight, budget-friendly configurations
- RK3588S - a significantly faster option for demanding workloads and richer multimodal interaction
- 8 GB or 16 GB RAM per CPU, depending on the desired performance level
These options can be mixed freely, ranging from an accessible entry-level configuration to a high-end dual-CPU setup with up to 32 GB of total RAM. No cloud dependence, no data sharing - all intelligence runs locally, just as Lyena was designed to do from day one.
